On Wednesday 14th October children learnt about famous black Britons who have made great achievements across a range of professions. They learnt about Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Sir Lenny Henry, Mary Seacole, Joseph Coelho, Mo Farah and Nicola Adams.
The children were very inspired by the stories of these individuals. Some of the classes have gone on to create fact-files and biographies about one of the people they learnt about.
Jubilee Day. Children across the school learnt about the Queen and the Royal Family.
