School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community. They are elected by the class.

St Matthew's Bloxam C of E Primary School council have written a short explanation of who they are and what they aim to do.

'In school council we have two children from each class from Reception to Year 6, we help people have a better education and experiences in school. We also have fundraisers for charity. We aim to be bright and wonderful and be the best we can be.

In school council we also make decisions to make our school a better place. You will know who the school councillors are because we all have badges and there is a display in the school.'

Previous School Council Activities

The school council worked hard to raise a massive £267.77 through the PJ / Non-Uniform day and tuck shop. This money went towards our whole school pantomime on 24th November.  The School council worked hard through out the year raising money for the Casa Reom trust and put on an amazing talent show in July.
