Year 4

Welcome to Year 4. The class teacher is Mr Mabey and the learning support assistant is Miss Longstaff.

 

P.E. will be on Thursday and Friday this half term.  Please can children wear P.E. kit on those days.

 

We will also be making use of Forest School on most Wednesday afternoons.  Children can come to school in uniform as normal but please can they bring a coat/waterproof and a change of shoes (that can get muddy) or wellies.

Geography - Investigating our shadows on a sunny day.

We have been learning about precious Jewish objects in RE. We made a model of a mezuzah and wrote a special message to put inside.

We have been learning about local habitats in Science. We played a game to match different living things to the correct local habitat.

We are illustrators! We drew the main character from our English text - In Our Hands. Then we used watercolours to paint her.

We had a visitor from the Dogs Trust to help us learn how to be safe around dogs.

We have been sorting different things into living, dead or never alive in science. We used our knowledge of the seven living processes to help us.
