SINGING SENSATIONS

 

A BIG well done to everyone who took part in Singing Sensations at The Temple Speech Rooms. It was a truly memorable occasion. A BIG thanks to all the families who came along and joined in so wonderfully.

A special thanks go to Mrs. Hunter for her great teaching skills and to Mrs. Dolman and Mrs. McSweeney for their invaluable support.

We all went to Church on Friday to learn about The Easter Story.

There were lots of differerent activities to help with our understanding.

We celebrated World Book Day with loads of activities including Book Reviews,

Character Studies and designing our own Book Covers.

Mr.Twynholm also read from his favourite book - The Iron Man.

Here we are dressed as Book Characters.

Here are the amazing Strange Worlds that were created during Half Term.

We are using them to inspire our writing.

On Thursday afternoons, we are now enjoying Gymnastics with our coach.

We have to develop our sequences in pairs or groups.

We are challenged to take pride in our presentations.

Our carol singing at Barclays Bank was much appreciated by everyone. Special thanks to Mrs. Parrott for conducting us and helping with our performance.

Lots of family and friends came along to support us.

We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

During Half Term, our challenge was to write a short story for

a Year 1 child. Here we are reading to Year 1 and each other.

Our first Open Morning was a great success.
