Dear Parents,

Do you ever worry about some of the games your children play?  National Online Safety has produced some top tips for parents around many popular games.  It is interesting to note the recommended ages. Please use these posters to start a discussion, and agree some boundaries with your child.

Do remember that you can always send us work or questions to SMBYear3@welearn365.com

Rev Alan has sent this message to all the children in school:

As part of our online services, Jane has written some James and Grandad puppet scripts on the subject of Covid-19 where James is having Zoom chats with Grandad, who always helps him understand: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC27X5kQfYHzagmI1KZAHemg

Here are some Spanish ideas you can try to keep practising your language skills:

A = activities (scan the QR code with a tablet/phone to play a game)

K = knowledge organiser (to look at vocabulary)

V = video (watch and join in)

Stage 1 = Year 3 & Stage 4 = Year 6 but you are welcome to try any level

Hello Children,

Although today would be the first day of the holiday, here are some more ideas to keep you busy while you are at home, including activities for every day this week as we lead up to Easter.  We are both loving seeing photos of you and your work on the Year 3 school Facebook page – please keep posting.

Happy Easter!

Hello Year 3,

We have not seen some of you children for over a week but we are thinking of you all.  Below are some more activities for you to complete this week and a poem from Mrs Hancock.

Well done to all those who have logged in to TTRS and practised your times tables (yes, I checked!).  Remember you can also find NumBots games on the internet and use the same log in details.  Mrs Byard has emailed your individual details for the Charanga website for music and songs.  We will continue to watch how you are getting on with these.

Try this to hear your favourite authors reading their books, eg How to train your dragon:

There is plenty of time to think up some tricks for next Wednesday...
